The Concept

BusinessTheatre Works explores the dynamics of human interaction in the workplace.

Founded in 2000, the partners of BusinessTheatre Works (BTW)  set out to do something uniquely different in the world of workplace training.  Thus, it is fitting that BTW utilizes a reality-based, interactive, theatrically based, role-playing model in its training approach. We create a ‘mirror of truth’ for the audience by presenting accurate and complex characters and situations, customized to a specific clients organizational environment and service improvement goals and objectives.

To complete this life-like experience, BTW performers stay in character after performing vignettes, and working with topic appropriate professional facilitators, take questions and comments from the participating audience. This interactive dialogue promotes an entertaining but thought-provoking training experience and gives audience members the opportunity to enhance their awareness of themselves, others, and the workplace ‘play’ they all ‘perform’ in.

Overall, a BTW training moves an audience to experience a shared truth in a live, interactive manner i.e., in the manner we all experience life. We have found that the combined visual, auditory and interactive experience is a highly effective training approach with a much higher level of knowledge retention than traditional didactic training formats. As such, a BTW training is an extremely effective workplace training choice.
